My best friend Chris found out the other day that his motorcycle has a bent rod. This really sucks, he just bought it a month or so ago. They estimate 2700.00 for the repair. We're going to try and save him some cash by removing the engine ourselves. So that's the plan for the next week or so. It'll be a good experience for us. (picture of my bike...same make/model as his)
My wife got a phone call at 4:45am this morning. Her little sister was fired from her job. She worked 4am-12pm doing stockroom stuff at Target. Well she's been having a hard time getting up on time, so they finally canned her for it. It's not a good situation, but she did have it coming. I feel bad for her still.
I've been playing Warhammer Online since preview weekend +. Now that Open Beta has started alot more people are on. The servers are full alot. It's quite fun. I'm currently a level 9 Sorceress named Absinthe on the Helbrass Server. Our guild has been doing a lot of PVP and already have our guild rank at nearly 4. Not bad for a few days.
The next couple days I have off work. That will be nice. I'll be helping Chris with his motorcycle, and getting ready for my Step Sister's Wedding this weekend. They asked me to be an Usher, so I'll have to pick up a suit coat.

Warhammer, Family
Today everyone who was in the previous preview weekend was allowed to enter the game again for a couple days leading into the open beta of Warhammer Online. I've been playing a sorceress, and it's not bad. I'm thinking this will likely be my main. It's a ranged DPS magic class.
I took a partial day off work today. Wife's sister has been in and out of the hospital and today was a false alarm. She's still doing fairly well.
I'm setting up Dan and Laura's new laptop for them. I managed to get a good deal on a 320gb Sata notebook drive for them. It's a nice little laptop for schoolwork. But Vista's SP1 update takes a heck of a long time to install. Hence I'm typing this now waiting for it to complete.
I've been considering putting the bike away early this year. I haven't been riding it much, and I could use the extra insurance money for other bills. I'll have to see if the shop gets Chris's bike repaired soon or not, if it will take a while I'll probably be putting it away. Sad times :(

Warhammer Online Open Beta/Preview Weekend +
I found out that this morning sometime EA/Mythic will be letting us who preordered Warhammer Online into the open beta a little early. They are calling this Preview Weekend+. I'm excited to play a little with the classes. Right now I'm kinda in the air between a few classes. I'm leaning towards Sorceress, but possibly Shaman or Squig Herder. Obviously me and Megatribe will be playing Destruction.
I'm excited, too bad i have to work in the morning. But it will only be a short shift.

Work, Stress Relief, and Google Chrome
Today I had a better day. My headache was gone! yay! I worked until 5:30p and today went fairly well. Only 1 troublesome client. She couldn't get Outlook 2007 to work with her Charter.net email account. Apparantly she isn't alone, a quick google search suggested many people have this problem. It could receive email, but not send it. I searched for a solution, and all we could come up with is that many users have found it helpful to use the comcast.net smtp server. So I hope that works out for her. Sara has the day off, and she made dinner for me! Beef Stroganoff, yum. Seems like I do most of the cooking, but to be fair she does almost all of the cleaning. So we'll call it even. I did some grocery shopping last night, and spent a little more than I should have, but we needed food in the house.
The night's still young, perhaps I'll get a movie to watch tonight.
I've been told keeping a diary is good stress relief, and so far my take on it (this blog) has seemed like a good release. It is kinda soothing recalling my day and getting it down in writing.
On another note, I've been using Google Chrome (link) on my Aspire One Netbook, and I'm really loving it. The only small complaint I have right now is that logmein.com remote access applet doesn't work with it yet. But hey it's a beta and it's crazy fast. I'm a die-hard Firefox user, and still use it on my desktop. But this Chrome browser is easily twice as fast and it's great usage of space allows for a better viewing experience on the 8.9" widescreen of my netbook.

Day 1
This is the introduction to my online Diary.
My wife Sara is working tonight, she wants me to get groceries, but I'm not really feeling like it. This headache just won't go away.
Well I'm going to take a nap, and see if I can sleep off this headache, until next time....
Today was an interesting day at work. I got to Train the new Girl, she's very nice. Her name is Kerri and she's A+ certified so she outta fit in ok. She's already got a headstart on most of the people who we've hired recently.
I woke up with a headache this morning. It's gotten worse as the day has gone on. It was one of those nasty ones that make your vision go blurry and bring nausea.

I've been looking forward to playing some Warhammer Online. Open Beta starts on Sept 7th, and that can't come fast enough. Our guild (megatribe.info) will be hitting this hard. At least 25 of us planning on starting up asap.
I'm typing this on my new toy. It's an Acer Aspire One Netbook. It's really quite nice. 8.9" Widescreen with an Intel Atom Processor (1.6ghz) and 120gb 5400rpm Hard Disk. The only real drawback is that there is no optical drive, but I was aware of that when I bought it. This model runs Windows XP Home, they also make an 8gb Solid State Drive version with 512mb of ram running Linpus Linux. All in all i'm super happy with it. Pairing it with a bluetooth adapter and mouse is perfect.
Well I'm going to take a nap, and see if I can sleep off this headache, until next time....
